2025 is the year in which I have changed my photographic focus dramatically. For many years I have given a lot of my time to the Western Counties Photographic Federation, principally in the areas of Judging and the Members’ Exhibition. I have now resigned from the Judging Panel and given up my position of an Assistant Exhibition Secretary.
From now on I am going to concentrate my energy on my work, principally producing prints and exhibiting them. I am maintaining my links with Fotospeed as an ambassador and will continue to offer a wide range of print talks.
I now find myself as the senior member of the Dorset Independent Photographers having joined in the late 1990’s. I value the opportunity of sharing my ideas with like-minded photographers. Landscapes and People continue to be my main areas of interest, but I have always been a catholic photographer on the look out for a good picture.
Success in photography is about establishing your own style, drawing on the work of others but adding your own unique interpretation. I hope my photographs fulfil this ambition.
